Happy St Andrew’s Day! Today is the national day of Scotland, celebrating Saint Andrew. It’s about celebrating Scottish history and culture – with traditional food, music, dancing. Check out this link to learn more: https://lnkd.in/g7bFgWJt

I’ve always been a big fan of the Scots from an early age; triggered by childhood football hero – the Liverpool and Scotland star, Kenny Dalglish. I had a poster of “King Kenny” (in his Scottish kit!) on my wall through my teenage years. 😊

But today, it’s about celebrating a Scottish Saint.
I love celebrating traditions from around the world. As we already have a ‘Movember’ celebration this evening in Singapore – we’ll also celebrate St Andrew’s Day too.

You don’t need to be Scottish to celebrate – grab some Scottish Haggis, Porridge, Shortbread or maybe some Whisky. Put on some Scottish Celtic music whilst out run/walk today – or simply wear some Scottish tartan today.

In my experience, celebrating each other’s cultures in a light and fun way is what brings people together by understanding our differences but also celebrating what we have in common – personally and professionally. #SameSameButDifferent
